  1. Visual Voice / Visual Fax Demo

  4. This demo will first give you a brief introduction to telephony
  5. and Visual Voice. It will then present you with a menu to 1) Step
  6. through creating a simple Visual Voice application, 2) See example Visual 
  7. Voice application stories, and 3) Learn more about Visual Fax.

  9. To run the Demo:
  10.     1) From the Program Manager FILE pulldown, select RUN...
  11.     2) Using the RUN Browse... button, select the STARTME.EXE file
  12.     3) Select OK back in the RUN dialog box to run STARTME.EXE

  15. ++ This demo includes sound (.WAV) files that illustrate Visual Voice 
  16. concepts. Although you can run this demo without multi-media hardware, 
  17. your PC must be equipped with Windows sound and speakers to hear the 
  18. sound effects.

  20. ++ Please note, some graphics drivers cause unpredictable displays with
  21. the demo software. If you experience any graphic distortions, please use
  22. Windows Setup to select VGA as your graphics driver. You may also experience
  23. difficulty reading the demo call-outs if you are running with a 
  24. high-resolution graphics driver. If the call-outs are too small for you
  25. to read, use Windows Setup, or the utility provided by your graphics driver
  26. vendor, to switch to a lower resolution display.
